Wishing to see the Prophet in a Dream

Question : As-Salamu-Alaykum. I have heard that if any Muslim wishes to see Prophet Muhammad ( peace and blessing be upon him ) in his dream, he can see him. Is there any specific method to achieve this goal?I mean is there any du'a ( supplication ) or recitation of any particular Qur' anic verse or hadith in order to see the Prophet (peace and blessing be upon him ) while one is sleeping?

Many Muslim entertain the wish to see their beloved Prophet in a dream. This emanates from the tremendous love they have for this great Prophet. However, there is no certain way to attain this wish, but one who is keen on following in the Prophet's footsteps may be more entitled to get this chance.

Only one thing I can advise you: the more you follow the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), the better chance you have to see the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). One more point I want to clarify here is: we would be living in the company of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) if we practice his Sunnah in our life. So, to see the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in a dream is not an end or absolute wish of the believer. The supreme goal of the believer is to accompany the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in Paradise.
