KARACHI — Naseer Ahmed travels 25 kilometers everyday during the holy fasting month of Ramadan for Tarawih, which provides him an opportunity to meet all his old friends and family members once a year. "I can offer Tarawih in my locality but I especially come here after travelling 25 kilometers distance to see my near and dear ones," Ahmed told IslamOnline.net. Yet, every Ramadan he travels to M.A Jinnah Road, one of the oldest localities of the southern port city, to perform Tarawih with classmates and family members who still live in the area. Food and juice arrangements are made for women and children by the mosque administration. "Apart from respect and honor, Tarawih is also a great fun for us. We not only invoke the blessing of Allah, but also rejuvenate the old and vanishing memories of our childhood."
